Sunstone 206 Ski-In Ski-Out Condo At Sunstone Lodge with Great Complex Amenities by RedAwning

This 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, ski-in, ski-out condo at Sunstone Lodge is one of

the best locations in Mammoth! It is located on Mammoth Mountain's Eagle Run

trail above Juniper Springs Lodge. Updated furnishings throughout the entire

condo to include a large sectional couch, dining table and chairs, euro-style

bunk bed, modern bedding in both bedrooms and new paint. There is a large flat

screen TV with DVD player in the living room and Firestick for streaming,

along with a cozy gas fireplace. The master bedroom has an attached private

bathroom, King bed and flatscreen TV. The second bedroom has a bunk bed with

an extra long twin on top, queen on bottom, and twin trundle underneath, also

with a flatscreen TV. The full kitchen has all of the cookware you will need

and the dining area seats up to 6 people. This unit has its own dedicated

internet high-speed service, in addition to the building wireless. There

really is no better location than Sunstone when it comes to convenience of

skiing/riding. All guests receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek

Athletic Club to enjoy facilities including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna,

full fitness facility, yoga, pilates and cycle studio and more. This is one

condo that will not disappoint. The condo sleeps a maximum of 6 people and

comes with underground, heated garage parking for one vehicle (garage

clearance is 8' 2"). Guests will be provided one parking pass. If more parking

is required than what is allotted, feel free to call our office for

alternative options. There are no stairs to the unit, no stairs inside, and no

smoking or pets are permitted. Our calendar is updated in real time. This unit

comes with building wide wireless internet, we cannot guarantee speed or

Last ski-in-ski-out of my year

Love Sunstone! Once "Eagle" closes, location "plus" ends for me, though. My favorite place to stay prior to that happening. This 2 bedroom is great for 2 singles up to 4 singles. Add 1 more if a "couple" comers along.

The information like were you pick up the keys, were the room was we had to ask the day of in a email none of which i recieved. The elevator didnt work all weekend, the shower was dangerous very slippery, no maid service for new towels , it could use an AC when we stayed in there very uncomfortable

Too small and too hot

Sunstone has gone downhill and could use a serious upgrade. The television in our unit did not work and though we called several times, it was not fixed until day 4 of our 5 days. The unit is very small and cramped and if you turn the fireplace on, it gets so hot it's uncomfortable.

Visited last week of Sept. Can hear deer eating berries off trees at night from the balcony. Hard to see them because it's dark and didn't have a strong enough flashlight.

This was the best location and the cleanest unit we have stayed in over the last 3-4 years. We are always searching for the best location and have high standards for cleanliness. Except for a few scratches on the kitchen counter this unit seemed to be in brand new conditions. The carpet was spotless.

Nice place, clean and well appointed, but the rollout bed is too small for two teens and one had to sleep on the floor. The place has more of hotel feeling than a condo feeling, but that is fairly minor.

The property is good and everythign that oen woudl expect, no surprises with the exception that in this day and age and at this price point each condo should come with wireless internet, to provide a LAN line and a single internet cable does not really hack it with a two bedroom condo.

While property appeared tidy upon arrival-we soon realized that it wasn't clean. The duvet cover appeared not to have been washed and smelled of old spice -GROSS. Also, there was long hairs in the utensil drawer in the kitchen.

Romantic Getaway

The property was very cozy and calm. Would have been more pleasure if more space were available. This place is great if you can get the front view. We were given the back view even though we asked for the avilability of other property. This place is great if one is looking to stay in a calm and peaceful location. For a lively and electrifying vacation this is not the right place.
