"Top resort that will not disappoint. Staff are great, upkeep it excellent and overall very relaxing and enjoyable place to be for a week. Room was very comfortable, well appointed and well maintianed. Buffet breakfast is insanely big with huge variety including made to order omelette. Worth adding this to the stay and you won't need much lunch. Food in the al a carte restaurant is excellent too. We didn't try the dinner buffet as it is very expensive and knowing breakfast can be so temptingly...

"Excellent in every way - service, location, food, facilities, cleanliness. They also provided great tips and suggestions throughout our trip. Best was on my day of check out and flight — they have a Fiji airlines check in counter at the hotel itself that collects baggage, checks you in and give you a boarding pass. So I could spend more time in the hotel and go to airport just enough in advance !"

It's about 30 minute drive from the Nadi International Airport and it's on a reef by itself, which means you actually have to take a small boat from the parking lot where you'll get dropped off to the actual hotel property. With that being said, you're pretty isolated from the main island. Some people are going to love that getting away from everything else, some aren't going to love being on a resort where it can be quite difficult to get to see anything else on...

"Staff were super lovely and friendly however I stayed in the female dorms and, while I didn’t mind, the male staff would often come into the room unannounced which could be quite shocking and somewhat nulls the female only experience in the dorm. "

"Some of the best service we have ever experienced, been all over the world, and the staff here were second to none. Resort is a bit tired but they are working on it. Its a jungle, nature will have its way with wood. This island resort, is just that. There is nowhere to go, without a water taxi or ferry, you are at their mercy for all things. "My husband and I have just arrived home from our week long Fiji getaway. Oh my goodness- THIS PLACE! We have never repeated resorts on any vacation but we are already looking to book another trip here. The staff are second to none, the beaches are better than pictures, and the relaxing atmosphere is everything you’d want in an adults only island resort. We will be back! Best vacation ever! "

"The Nakelo Resort was absolutely fantastic and surprised us with so many things to do. From going on a daily boat trip to feed the fish and snorkel, to daily activities like cocktail making and feeding turtles to mini golf and tepanyaki it was the perfect place to stay with little ones. "We are 6 people - grandparents, parents, and teens. The home was a perfect size for us and had all the features we needed. The shining best part is the family we got to know and who took the best care of us. We were spoiled, well fed, and totally looked after…and absolutely loved each of them. Every day was full! "We spent a week at Vale Doku to celebrate an 80th birthday. We had 11 + family members aged 5-80 years. "After two years, I’m back in Fiji and just realized I never left a review. Tadrai was the first resort I visited, and it was absolutely stunning. The staff were so welcoming, taking me snorkeling, on a picnic to a private island, and chasing the sunset. It was such a beautiful experience, and I hope to come back again!The most memorable part was the staff member, Rookie. I can’t swim and was quite nervous about snorkeling. I ended up swallowing a bit of water while holding onto him. I’m really thankful for his patience and help!"
