Had some nice shops and good local food restaurants. There was a coop grocery and convenience store where we picked up a few things we needed to eat in the car and have in the hotel rooms at night.

"Although we enjoyed staying at the hotel it is important to realise that there is no on site parking, it seems there is normally street parking 50 metres up the road, not sure how it easy it would be to park "in season". The early ferry is too early for breakfast at the hotel and there is no food on the ferry. I wish we would have asked for a packed breakfast at the hotel; I'm sure it would have been nice for a picnic or to eat while waiting for the ferry.
