"Great place to stay in Malindi "

"The hotel is beautiful, has a lovely pool but it is far away in farmer’s field and very difficult to find. Google maps sent me in the wrong direction. There should be signs and clear instructions on how to get here. It’s easy if you take the right road from the main highway. Staff is friendly and helpful. "

"The Lawford was a lovely place to stay in Malindi. The 3 bedroom villa and private pool were amazing. Large upstairs and downstairs lounge areas. Lots of space for everyone. There was a full kitchen with all the pots, pans, utensils etc. Service was great. Staff were delightful. Had fun with pool and table tennis. We would live there, if we could! Our neighbors were a bit loud but management tried to help with the situation. The beach is close but the water was brown and not “inviting.” There is a river just north that drains into the ocean right above the property. We would definitely visit again!"

"It wasn't as clean as i had expected. The room for two had not been prepared for two. We had to walk to the office in the morning asking for soaps and towels. "

"This was a fantastic experience. The beach house is huge and very comfy - plenty of space for my husband and I, our two sons, our daughter in law, my brother, his wife and daughter, and my two sisters. Me and my husband stayed in the inside/outside room where we could decide whether to sleep indoors or under the stars with only a mosquito net in between. We were steps from a non-crowded beach on the Indian Ocean and could relax in the sun and sand all day and rest on the chairs and beds back at the house. There was even a pool. Upstairs, there was an open air common room where we could talk and play games. Rehema and her team (Ali and Samuel) kept the place in great order. She is a fantastic cook and made the best samosas we’ve ever had. Very highly recommended!"

"Large clesn rooms, smart tv with netflix , you tube etc. Fully equiped kitchen with microwave. Choice for breakfast. Qurt controlsnle A/C Frendly and helpful management and staff."

"The staff were absolutely delightful and brilliant. Corazone Ndeya, Brian Angila and Hakim Mukungu were so warm, friendly, patient and informative. The food served was also fantastic with the chef's preparation of prawns, fish and chicken were absolutely delicious. I look forward to coming back next year. "

"The hotel was lovely especially as it was right on the beach. The room was a good size with a very large four poster bed. and the food (and presentation of it) was excellent with plenty of choice. Would definitely recommend."
