"This B&B is better than expected. It is a B&B situated at a gated community. It is right at the Malelane gate. Perfect location. Staff was very friendly and very helpful. The breakfast setup is excellent. It feels like a good hotel, not a simple B&B. I'll certainly recommend this place to anyone. "

"Hennie's rest is a lovely boutique B+B style (sans breakfast) with a kitchenette, a sitting area and a bedroom. The patio is splendid and overlooks the crocodile river, teeming with wildlife. We had close and memorable experiences with elephants that come over to grab a drink off the crocodile river and sometimes pay the locals a visit. The hostess is splendid ad very helpful. "Didn’t know what to expect but this place definitely set the bar pretty high when I return to visit Kruger National Park. So close to the park you hear the lions roaring at night. Both nights and early mornings driving in and out of the guarded village, were the castle is located, we were able to see the wild life from zebras, giraffes, kudus, and impalas. The host stays on the property and is there to help accommodate and assist with any questions. The pool was pleasant and much appreciated...

"If only we could give it more stars, we would. The house has a thatched roof, high beamed ceilings, super comfy beds, plenty of indoor & outdoor seating, all of the imenities needed while maintaining the decor of a bush home. There is a fire pit and 2 pools. Betty cleans the house daily. It is surrounded by the bush therefore you get to interact with kudo, warthogs, bush back that eat from your hands, also impala, zebra, giraffe, vervet monkeys, baboons, elephants Guinea fowl in your own back...

"My sister and I had a girls trip and chose the Perfect place to stay. I love the small and more intimate places and this was not too busy. Absolutely fantastic staff who were so happy to see you and nothing was too much trouble for us. "

"If you want to go on safari in Kruger National Park, this is the place to stay! Two game drives per day (morning and afternoon/evening) with excellent guides. Because you are staying inside the park, you don’t have to worry about getting in and out of Kruger National Park before the gates close. Also, your guide can explore off-road places as well, getting you to where the animals are! Excellent food and service (all inclusive), spa treatments available on site, and an amazing rooms and facilities that overlook a river bed- you can relax and watch a herd if elephants walk by as you eat your lunch! Highly recommend!"
