Great location, wonderful property manager
The property is on a pedestrian street in the heart of the Historic district close to the Cathedral, the Castle Gibralfaro and an easy walk to the beach. It was clean and comfortable. The flat is on the 2nd floor and there is an elevator, great for bringing up luggage. A few things were not working (stovetop, coffee maker, microwave) which was disappointing on the first day as we had to eat out, and scramble to find coffee in the morning. However, the property manager immediately started the process to make things right. The historic district is very active from 11am to 2am, followed by garbage collection, therefor, leaving windows open over night is not an option. There was an air conditioner in the living area, in October we never needed it. Finding a somewhere to have breakfast before 10am was a challenge as many places did not open until 10 or 11 am. (even McDonald's didn't open until 10) Grocery stores are approx 10 minute walk. Taxi from the airport was 35 euro, and taxi to the airport was 25 euro. We should have taken the C1 metro line to the Malaga Central Station and walked or taken a taxi for the last 850 m and saved money. Location is the main reason we would recommend this property.
