"When we arrived, it was not very clean. Beds were made and everything but there were cup rings on the counters and smudges all over the appliances like someone was just there. There was also a used bar of soap and someone’s old loofah in the shower. We contacted the host and she was very willing to have someone come clean- however, we chose to leave because there is a weird energy at that house. There are weird trap doors in the kids room and something just felt off. I did not feel safe sleeping...

"This place is amazing. I want to build something just like this! Everything is so beautiful. The movie room was such a blast for all the kids, and the sofas are so comfortable. The property is only a few minutes away from town and the hot springs. We had such a fun New Years here as a family. And the bedding was so comfortable and warm. We had a great time. Hope to be back soon! "

"We stayed in this home for a week during the winter and it was fabulous. It snowed most the time we were there, but loved it and had a great time trying the winter experience in Lava. The home had all we needed including a snow blower. The furnishing are perfect and the home is well supplied. "

"The 2 front and 2 back porch cameras are somewhat understandable, though very curious to see when you initially walk up. That was my first thought, anyways. The cottage is adorable and though it matches the rest of Lava(a little rundown), it has a charm to it that our friends loved and we definitely enjoyed during our stay. The shower was a nice upgrade and was tall enough for me to use(I'm 6'4"), so that was a plus! There were a few minor inconveniences about staying there(same with any place)...

"We arrived in Lava Hot Springs just before 4:00 p.m. and drove straight to the property at 42 Ivy, Lava Hot Springs. The yard was shaded and everything looked inviting and like "home".
