"We arrived in Lava Hot Springs just before 4:00 p.m. and drove straight to the property at 42 Ivy, Lava Hot Springs. The yard was shaded and everything looked inviting and like "home". "The house is incredible. There is plenty to do inside and out. The downstairs has everything from table games to a theater room. The outside firepit, grass, pickleball court and hot tub is excellent. It is well stocked with toys and fun things for all ages. The bedrooms and kitchen are excellent. And it is really close to the hot springs, tubing the river and the pools. All and all we had a great time at our family outing."

"The cabin was cute, clean and little. However, the ad said private bathroom. No bathroom in the cabin. The bathroom is a shared (public) bathroom that is private but still public. To get to the bathroom it was a short walk up a small hill, but uncomfortable walking to it at night-time. Staff was nice. . "

It was a well-equipped spacious and comfortable home. Our only inconvenience was obeying the request to take off our shoes while in the house. However we realize that unless you are in your 80s you wouldn’t understand the hitch. "
