"Monty's BB was an excellent choice for our weekend stay in Kawhia. From the ease of booking to our arrival & departure. Accommodation was very well laid out and had everything we needed. It was a lovely peaceful location with just a quick 10 minute walk into town. We especially enjoyed the outdoor BBQ area.Our host, Monty, recommended some sites to visit & a day ride on the motorbike. We took his advice and had an awesome day out.Would also recommend a visit to the Boat club for a drink & a meal with some great views."

"We had a great time here with our young family and dog. The bach is a classic kiwi holiday home, renovated to keep it comfortable. Nicely decorated and maintained. Has all the amenities you need.Lots of great things to do in the area, including the hot water beach, fishing, Marakopa Falls and the natural bridge. Will recommend. "

"We absolutely loved our stay here, we were here only for 1 night and wished we could have stayed longer! very beautifully presented/decorated. Amenities that were provided were great. Clean, amazing view, outdoor tub was Devine. Badminton set up was a cool touch! a great place for a weekend getaway, only 10 mins to raglan so great location as well. Communication from the owner Jan was awesome too. We definitely recommend and will be returning :) "
