As long as I did not have to interact with staff, everything was fine, room was clean, so was hotel. 10 minute or less walk to Haram via Bab ul Salam.
Around 3-3:30PM I went to hotel reception and I asked them to replenish sugar in room, I was told to go back to my room and press 0. So I went and did just that, but phone was not working, so I went down to reception again to report that phone is not working and that I need sugar, instead they call concierge and told them to deliver sugar to my room. By the time I checked out around 10pm, they had not deliver sugar or provided me with working phone.
Secondly, I asked for late check out, they charge me half day, which I agreed too and paid, later in day their staff came knocking my door to let me know that my check out time has passed and that I need to check out.
Both experience have made me realized that they zero customer service skills and no one has control over anything.
