"It was my second visit to Bayeaux, and the second stay in the well located and charming Hotel Le Lion d'Or. Onsite parking is a bit of a trick, but do-able. Their restaurant is first class, and a stop in the bar is a must. The rooms are clean and quiet, but may be up a couple of flights of stairs. There is no elevator. Willing staff will help with luggage. The rooms are spotless and roomy and often have charming views of the interior courtyard. Staff is phenomenal. "

The employees are friendly and helpful. It is also close to museums. There is no elevator to the second floor. We love to hear the Nearby Cathedral bells in the morning and at night. "
