"This was our second holiday this year at the mill and we will keep returning. Everything you need for a holiday has been thought of, beautiful mill and extensive gardens. Can highly recommend using the patio at the side of the property for meals, very relaxing with views across the river/land. You have access to use herbs/tomatoes etc from the garden which is such a lovely idea. Easy drive to food shops and literary a short walk to Château de Dampierre-sur-Boutonne which is definitely worth a visit. There is also a small shop that sells local crafts/art/honey which is such a fabulous idea to support the local people. The owner Yohann as always was very welcoming, excellent communication prior and during the stay if you require his assistance. He ensures your time at the mill is as enjoyable as possible. You won’t regret booking this gem of a property. "

"We stayed at the hotel as part of a long drive back from the South West of France. The people working at the hotel were super helpful, providing an option to manage our late arrival, providing breakfast at short notice and helping with any questions we had. The family room we stayed in was large and easily accommodate two adults and two kids. "

"An old farmhouse, deep in rural France but with a modern ambiance. Louis and Lauren have worked so hard to provide facilities for their visitors, including a games barn, jungle gym, trampoline and an immaculately maintained pool. "

"We all loved our time at Nicholas’ house. There is so much to do at the house and it is surrounded by a wall which makes it very easy to be with young families. We picked the vegetables and fruit, fed the chickens and absolutely loved spending time in the river. The pool is beautiful and the house is homely and elegant with everything you need for a happy and easy stay. Nicholas was extremely communicative and kind. We would love to come back again as a group or with others - thank you so much."

"Food outlets next door should carry a health warning with them. Positively the worst food we have ever had. Breakfast at the hotel wasn’t much better. Management should take a long look at this one."
