"Very warm welcome from our hosts, and a generous surprise gift of local cheese. Lots of space in this quaint old-fashioned apartment. Heating superb, bed very comfortable. Downside probably lack of outdoor space in the evening sun, but weather during our stay meant that was not a concern! Highly recommend and would certainly visit again if planning another trip to this area."

"Nous n'avons passé qu'une soirée à Montaigu car il s'agissait d'une étape sur la route des vacances, toutefois nous nous sommes promis d'y revenir car le gîte est de grande qualité, bien situé au calme, bien équipé, et aussi parce que nous avons été si bien accueillis par Martine qui est vraiment aux petits soins avec ses invités. "We really enjoyed our stay in Lamoura. The property is beautifully decorated and well appointed and there was a lot to do in the area, including running, cycling and swimming. The large garage was invaluable on rainy days for entertaining the kids and drying washing. My only gripe was the lack of transparency about linen hire, cleaning charges and the need for a 500 euro deposit, neither of which were mentioned in the listing, meaning I didn't bring a cheque book and had to sort it all out...
