"Please stay at this wonderful chambre d’hote. Roxi is the perfect host and you can really tell that she has put her heart and soul into this lovely house. The bedroom we had was amazing and had everything you need including a huge jacuzzi!!! Perfect place to enjoy the town of Verteuil sur Charente. Fresh eggs included in great breakfast. "Friendly welcome from the owner and shown to a nice family room. Comfy beds and bathroom with really good shower. Lovely breakfast served outside in sun. Kids enjoyed the pool, very clean. All would have been perfect but for the unexpected heatwave which reached about 40 degrees and as there is no air con we initially suffered trying to sleep. Saying this l would definitely go back again, it is so very quirky!"
