Enjoy long peaceful walks in the countryside, a choice of village pubs and historic Leeds Castle on your doorstep. It is also ideally located for visiting the charming villages of Ulcombe, Egerton and Pluckley. The North Kent Coast is easily accessible, with Whitstable (known for it's fresh oysters and crabs), Margate (with miles of sandy beaches and Turner Contemporary) and on the way back is the iconic City of Canterbury. The friendly owners live next door, offering reassurance if you run into any questions during your stay but is equally private if you just want to relax. Little Fountains really is a gem that you will want to return to year after year!

Please ensure you vacate on time to allow our housekeepers to enter the property and prepare it for the next guests.
Smoking is not permitted in the property at any time.
Please note for insurance purposes the number of guests must not exceed the total occupancy of the house.
For fire safety reasons please do not use any candles in the property.

Local Information
Surrounded by apple and pear orchards, Sutton Valence is the middle of The Garden of England. Situated on the Greensand Ridge, the village has long distance views over the Kentish Weald. The two village pubs, The Kings Head and The Queens Head both offer good food and are dog friendly. The nearby villages of Headcorn, 4.5 miles, has a fish and chip shop, an Indian restaurant/takeaway, a Chinese take away, a Kebab Grill and another two pubs. There are two golf courses within a couple of miles, both with gyms for a workout, a bowls club which welcomes visitors and safe farm walks are on the doorstep for you and your four legged friend.
The Greensand Way long distance foot path (some 100 miles from Limpsfield in Surrey to the Royal Military Canal across Romney Marsh) runs through the village and past Little Fountains. The charming villages of Ulcombe, Egerton and Pluckley (known for the filming of 'The Darling Buds of May' and Little Chart are just a walk away. The North Kent Coast is easily accessible, with Whitstable and Margate, and you will pass through Canterbury on your way back. The South Kent Coast offers the historic jewels of Hastings, Winchelsea, Rye and Deal.
Kent offers a wealth of historic houses and castles with just a few being - Leeds Castle, Hever Castle and Dover Castle to name a few. But, for a grand day out with a difference, take the Channel Tunnel and drive to France (just 32 miles down the M20 at junction 11a - check the documents you will need). However, for the full tourist experience, take the train from Headcorn straight into London Charing Cross (1 hour journey) to see Trafalgar Square, The National Gallery, Marble Arch, The Mall, Buckingham Palace and The Houses of Parliament - all within walking distance.
