"The apartment is well situated for walking to town center and the beach front. Car parking was available and more than adequate. Facilities in the apartment were comfortable and more than enough for 2 guests. The heating system needed some attention but I was quickly helped by Ian and we got things running again. We would suggest the inclusion of at least 1 toilet roll , we travelled from the Netherlands and preferred not to go directly to the supermarket. Other than that we had a great stay."

En-suite shower thermostat was temperamental. Visited Culzean, Turnberry hotel for spa and afternoon tea. Local pub/restaurants such as Souter’s, Wildings, Balkenna, Anchorage in Dunure, Saffy’s and Wellingtons in Ayr. Coop in Maybole and Asda in Girvan useful for provisions. "Beautiful spacious 2 bed flat. Everything you need for a home away from home. Close to amenities. Very easy to access on arrival. No need to meet someone to get keys. Would recommend. Only thing I would add is to request WiFi password. I couldn’t find it in the book that gives you the information of surrounding area or written down somewhere. Maybe I just couldn’t see it. "

"Great location but my stay was disappointing to say the least. I was the only resident. The hot water in bathroom and kitchen was a trickle and almost non existent. The bedroom TV was inoperable. The worst issue was the shower! It did not work. I had three local friends attempting to operate but it would not turn on. I had to go to a friend’s house to shower. It was frustrating. I emailed owner but they never responded to my complaint. I would have thought they would have checked in to see how...

"This property was very clean. I love having white bedding / towels because you can see that they are clean! There were nice touches - a pint of milk in the fridge, a selection of biscuits. The decor is tasteful and attractive."
