"The pictures in this listing completely misrepresented the neighborhood. We only spent about an hour in the VRBO but didn't feel safe there for several reasons. First of all, the room wasn't secure because it was opened up to the neighborhood through the upper floor that let out to the fire escape. Second of all there were large groups of people in the streets having block parties that made us feel like our rental car wasn't safe from vandalism or burglary. "What a fantastic place right in the heart of Tarrytown! There is so much to do in the town and this studio is so convenient to everything. Highly, highly recommend!"

"We loved this wonderful home. Hosts were very easy to work with and so kind. Place was immaculate and the towels and bedding were high quality. Kitchen was well equipped and great size. "House was very clean and owners seemed kind and thoughtful. They was a bottle of wine waiting for us at arrival. Beds and linens were very comfortable and shower had great water pressure. The view from the balcony is splendid with cozy outdoor furniture and an area for yoga or meditation. We just found the decor to be a little schizophrenic and overwhelming. This is a great place for two adults and a couple of kids to stay. If two couples are going, they would need to be very comfortable...

"The property is walkable to everything Highland Falls and West Point. It is in an older building, so the stairs maybe be a little steep for someone elderly or who has a hard time negotiating stairs. The host was amazing, communicating frequently and accurately. Would recommend to anyone!"

"The spot was a good 2 bedroom apartment nice for a place to stay when we were visiting family nearby. It had everything we needed for a quick overnight stay. A few things to know for future visitors are that: 1. Getting to the second bedroom, in the attic, was steep with no railing steps (even steps to get into apartment were tight/steep and could see it being difficult for some) but being younger made it ok to get up and use 2nd bedroom. 2.
