"Bring your groceries and leave your worries behind. This out-of-the-way vacation cottage is a great place to settle in and watch the waves. We spotted seals, eagles and fishing boats gliding past. The road onto the island, with it's twists, turns and one-lane bridge, adds to the charm. The property provides a sense of isolation but neighbours are nearby if needed. "What a charming, cozy, and well maintained rental...it feels like home. If you are an antique collector you will appreciate the furniture & collectibles that can be admired throughout the rental. It has everything you need and more. Pat & Pam were wonderful hosts. I would highly recommend this VRBO if you are traveling to the South Shore. "

"The hilltop retreat was perfect for us. We were looking for a place big enough and fully equipped to host a family gathering pre-Christmas. This was just right. The kitchen is fully equipped. The hosts have thought of everything. The house is cozy and beautiful. Great distance from town and beautiful views. We may make it an annual tradition. "

"This is a lovely private oceanfront house. Perfect blend of old house but updated tasteful interior. Location is fantastic. Even the beds are comfortable. Win,win,win!"

"This is a great property. We really enjoyed the beautiful view and fireplace. Very relaxing. We took a winter getaway and so were not able to use the patio, but it looked very inviting even with snow on it. The unit was well stocked with cooking items, the furniture was very comfortable. The location is a convenient distance from Mahone Bay and Chester; great for lunch, dinner or just coffee shop hopping. Will definitely try to get back. "
