"De alguna manera las fotos hacían creer que la habitación era un poco más amplia, sin embargo no es como que cause inconvenientes. Ambos chicos en recepción siempre fueron atentos, amables y accesibles. Súper cerca del famoso faro, de las combis de Chetumal-Mahaual y de la zona donde están los restaurantes, bares y souvenires. Solo como tip: Dejan todo para tu café o té… pero no cucharitas ): haha"

"Our family of four adults enjoyed a four-night stay. Check-in was easy and our room was roomy and comfortable with one double bed and two twins. (The double bed was more comfortable than the twins). The air conditioner worked great. There was a musty smell in the room, however, that is common when you're so close to the ocean. We loved the architecture and design of the property. We loved the pool and the location was perfect, right near the beach, shopping, and restaurants. The view from the rooftop was beautiful. There is a pool as well, but we did not use it. There are only a few reserved parking spots specifically for the hotel but parking can be found on the street. We wished they had a mini frig but we would stay at Matan Ka'an again!"

"I have been traveling to Mahahual for solo fishing adventures every year for at least the last 8 years, and I have always stayed at the Cabanas Del Doctor, and I always will! I don't need anything fancy, but for the very reasonable price of a room or cabana here you won't find anything even close to as good. Also, the woman who runs the hotel/cabanas is wonderful, I look forward to seeing her every year. Hope to be back again soon, thank you for everything once again!"
