"We stayed at Cedric's property for three weeks, with friends coming to visit during that period. The house is really nicely set up to allow for entertaining and relaxing; the pool is the perfect temp, the house is cool during hot days and the living room and kitchen are spacious and well laid out. "The area was a little remote, but the house was exactly as described and plenty big enough for 3 family groups with a wide range in children’s ages. The outside areas worked brilliantly well, plenty of shade or sun as required. The area was really peaceful and we had deer wandering around the area. The property owner was really helpful with all our questions and responded really quickly. If I’m being picky due to the heatwave we would have appreciated. Air con in the downstairs bedrooms....

"What isn't evident from the photos is that this gîte is made up of an older part and a new "tower" part - but that both are now to the same, modern standards. People should be aware that three of the rooms are on the three floors (inc ground) of the tower, so there are quite a few stairs which may be daunting for some. "The house exudes a sense of history in its style and furnishings with plenty of space for people to spread out. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and the outdoor terrace is a lovely place to dine as you watch magnificent sunsets. The pool was a particular attraction complete with a bar and kitchen area, ideal for keeping drinks and snacks. Croquet and table tennis were also popular with our group. "We spent a truly fantastic.. (and very hot..).. week here in july ‘22 The house and grounds are amazing with everything you could ever need right at your fingertips.. Clement, Regine and Jean-Francoise are the most friendly hosts you could ever wish to meet.. very welcoming with no request being too much trouble.. The Gers department of France is absolutely beautiful.. gorgeous scenery coupled with excellent food & wine. Already looking forward to next year so we can return and visit again…...
