"From the moment we arrived at this stunning hacienda, we knew we had discovered something special. The enclosed courtyard welcomed us with charm, and seamless online check-in made settling in a breeze. Stepping in, we all said, "Wow!" and kept saying, "Wow" until we had explored the entire home.Each evening, we were drawn to the living room, savoring the warmth of the kiva fireplace as the sun set through the large west-facing windows. The space is large and thoughtfully designed—ideal for a small group like ours but well-suited for larger gatherings, with an abundance of dining and kitchen space. Two couples could have their own master bedrooms with 2 more beds for another three -- that's luxury. And the multiple decks—so many!—provide endless opportunities to soak in the landscape.Beyond the property, we explored the Gila Cliff Dwellings, Purgatory Chasm, City of Rocks State Park, Emory Pass, and Silver City (fill up on gas while there; the drive is longer than it seems!). Hillsboro and Kingston were hidden gems, with cool museums and welcoming townspeople.The owner of this hacienda is exceptional. Her hospitality added to the warmth and comfort of our stay.Of the many properties we've rented, this one stands out, and we are eager to return. No TVs, just breathtaking views, a well-equipped kitchen, comfy beds, serenity, and a deeps sense that someone truly cares about this place."

"Chose the property because of its location to several golf courses in the area. We were able to be from Las Cruces to Albuquerque and places in between for courses.The people who manage the property are very kind and helpful.Felt comfortable right away."

"Came for a solo retreat for a few days and had an outstanding time! The view from the deck is by far the highlight, with amazing views of the valley and cliffs during the day and silent, serene stargazing at night. The house is very clean with no bugs or signs of age, and everything feels well-kept and cozy.Cooked several meals in the kitchen, which is very well equipped. Brought a lot of my supplies in, but was very pleasantly surprised to find coffee, tea, and some spices already stored. The only things I were unable to find were a potato peeler and a strainer, but these were both minor missing pieces. The bed in the master suite is very comfortable and the suite in general is very cozy. The extra TV space is an amazing touch, which I can see being especially good for families with children/teens who want to send their kids away while sitting in the living room/patio. I do wish there was space for a TV in the living room, although I like not having it in there by default. But given that there’s a spare tv in the master closet, having space to place it should you want to get it out would be awesome. The only thing even close to negative is that the shower is very small. While this worked just fine for me (an average height/weight man), this may be a drawback for larger/taller individuals or people with claustrophobia. That being said, the bathroom is extremely clean and well put together.Absolutely loved my time here and plan on returning in the near future!"
