"Excellent location. This is a small hotel surrounded by restaurants, cafés, etc. As it was a tatami room, I was expecting the possibility of musky odor, but thankfully there was none! 😊 Room was just right for 3 people max. The futon was soft & comfy & warm despite the crazy Akita winter (personally it was too warm, I was sweating. 😂) The only con is, because we left the window slightly ajar for air flow, we could hear the very loud & obnoxious laugh from another guest's room (I think?)...

"The price of our room was twice as expensive as similar hot spring hotels. That was because our room had its own private hot spring bath, which would have been wonderful, but the bath's size was even smaller than ours at home, and because of that we didn't want to use it."

"I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel even though it was one of the cheaper options on my trip, and a simple room. Staff were so friendly and helpful. 5 minutes walk from station (look to the right at front of station for the giant green "G"). 2 convenience stores and one supermarket within 2 blocks. Super quiet area. Handy to access Shinkansen and travel to tourist areas. I would happily stay here again!"
