"This is a nice smallish hotel at the outskirts of Alcazar. Staff is friendly, rooms are clean, maybe a bit minimal equiped but it has all you need. Attached is a restaurant and cafeteria with pretty good food too. Something to be aware of - it is on the outskirts of Alcazar and takes about 20 minutes to walk into the town centre, over an hour to the windmills/sights (driving or cycling is of course much quicker) - plan accordingly."

"First room offered was unusable as under renovation full of building materials and rubble. Second room given was without any form of heating on a cold January with bedding consisting of sheet and blanket. Totally unacceptable so had to find alternative accommodation at another hotel. Having prepaid we want a full refund. "

"The Beautiful interior of this hotel is just wonderful. We were very lucky as we stayed during a very quiet winter period so we’re able to advantage of the setting. Lovely bedroom with en-suite, bed very comfortable. Coffee machine and kettle on the first floor area with a choice of teas. We had breakfast included which was very good and plentiful. Very quiet town only a few minutes walk away. "

"This is a perfectly situated basic hotel on the drive to/from Santander to the Costa del sol. We have stayed there many times on our travels and have found the hotel staff to be friendly and efficient. We always have dinner there which is normally excellent - especially the lamb. Although you may need to understand a little bit of spanish to read the menu. We would thoroughly recommend it. "
