Great place to stay
The staff was very helpful, and the room very nice, with plenty of towels provided. The air-condition worked well. There is a flamenco theatre within 5 min walk (much cheaper than flamingo clubs, and with student discounts!), and the Gran Via and cozy streets in the city centre were also within walking distance. Metro station really close to the flat. Nice common areas and a board of coupons that could be used around the city. And so cheap! Very happy with our stay! We got a taxi (€30 fixed price) to the airport at 5 in the morning, and just had to wait outside the flat for 15 seconds before an available taxi passed by!

I really liked it here. The price was phenomenal and the staff was super friendly. Only thing to consider is the shower size. It's a bit small, so if you're a little on the heavier side, it might be a problem. I'm 5'10 and 170lbs and didn't have a problem, but did feel a little crammed in there. Besides that, everything was great. Can't beat the price

The room failed to meet my standards. THe toilets were too small and whole building is not designed around a guest or traveller. THe lift is too small and clumsy to open and close without two people and hallway under lit at night. Doorway are too narrow and the bathrooms continually present a slip hazards . The security was was mediocre and requires better internal locks for bathroom and bedrooms . I felt vulnerable using a bathroom away from my room and valuables. I have given my feed back to the hotel staff who were wonderful. The building was never designed for a modern traveller or baggage issues and so access is challenging for anybody. The building is listed and difficult to modify and should never be used a hotel in my option based on current safety concerns. I would be better more suitable as offices or a private residence as they layout not been thought through at all.

Good Location only blocks from Gran Via, good check in and Sandra at front desk was very helpful..even called a good Taxi service to Airport 30 E .Rooms were clean and comfortable.Coffee at Tim Hortons across the San Bernardo St. Suggest that you do a daytrip by tour bus 24 E or train ? to ancient walled city of Toledo . Best Restaurant Canas y Tapas on Plaza de Celenque 1 , only a couple blocks off Plaza Mayor excellent food and beer at low prices .Walking distance about 15 min. Madrid is an awesome city with parks ,castles and Royal Palaces, Do 2 day hop on /off for 13 E....Enjoy Madrid !!

A decent/good hotel if you want a place to spend the night. It has A/C, which is important in the summer. The person in the reception was nice. Shower and bath room shared. The standard was not high enough for me to make me want to hang out there, but it was fine to spend the night.
