Perfect Stay
We absolutely loved our stay at Doll House and we were all amazed at all the details and all the considerations that the hosts took in making sure the guests are happy. By far the best Vrbo we have ever stayed at, based on how well stocked everything is, the house, the rooms, the yard, the location etc. Perfect!! We hope to visit again soon.

Almost felt like we were on the ocean!
The great location on the river made our morning coffee on the deck a relaxing way to start the day. Comfortable beds and well supplied kitchen (plus delicious cheese in the fridge) helped make the weekend visiting our son perfect.

We so enjoyed our stay at this wonderful place. Nice amenities and it was well stocked. Loved being on the river for great fishing and a boat parade. The owners were great to us and understanding of a health crisis we faced. We would love to stay there again.

The decor and furnishings were the best we've experienced with VRBO. Beautifully maintained and convenient to UW campus. We highly recommend this home for two adult couples with a few kids.

Amazing perfect tental
Only 7 minutes to the expo center where we were attending the world dairy expo so location was great. Food and groceries were close as well as downtown Madison. The house was stocked better than my own not missing a thing. This was definitely the best rental I’ve ever stayed in.

Comfortable, clean, convenient stay
We had everything we needed to enjoy a comfortable stay and meals together (kitchen was fully stocked). The host was very responsive and accommodating. Our only suggestion would be to consider getting different pillows for the master bedroom - they were a bit high, but others may prefer that. It was a quick drive to get to everything in Madison and easy to get around.

Great fall weekend
The property is new, very clean, well stocked, and has all the amenities you need. Best part is the location, right on the waterway. You can see/hear the highway but it’s behind a wall of vegetation. Less than 10 minutes from the capitol, with easy access to the highway to get around. Communication with property manager was prompt and helpful. Hope to stay here again!

We had a nice time. There were lots of helpful extras. Outdoor chairs were brand new and very nice. Large walk in closet off master bath could be used for pack n play for an infant. Lots of space in the master for pack n play or portable toddler bed as well. Great for families traveling with other guests or extended families. Child safety lock on the cabinet under sink with cleaning products would be helpful! We also communicated with the host about the master shower. She was very responsive!

Wonderful home! As soon as you walk in, you can tell how much the host cares about your stay.
I've stayed at many VRBO and other rental properties. A few were less than advertised, most were true as advertised - this one was more than advertised. We were the first guests here. This house feels like a home, and the hosts put a lot of thought into what their guests may need. My wife and I stayed with two adult sons, and had five others come for a family game day. I'm not sure what else to say - it was perfect. Very clean house. They thought of every detail. We would definitly stay again, and highly recommend it. If I could give it six stars, I would.

A Magnificent Madison Mansion!
After staying at a hotel during the week of a sporting festival last year, my husband and I decided to find a house for the week of the 2023 games - and boy are we glad we did! This home is so full of comfort, space, thoughtful amenities, and beautiful views that it made this year’s trip so much better than our hotel-based trip the year before. The comfortable and adjustable beds, the views of the river from the backyard, the private garage, the thoughtful wine and cheese, the sparkling clean interior, the easy to follow house guide, the beautiful kitchen, the proximity to the games site, the spacious washrooms, and the quiet neighbourhood are just some of the reasons why we loved this property. We have stayed at some amazing properties over the past 5-6 years, and this ranks right up there with the best experiences we have ever had. Highly recommended!

Perfection
Shirley and Paul have set the bar high for all other rentals to compare to. The house is beautiful and spacious. The usual rentals do not make you as comfortable as if you are in your own home. This one does. The kitchen is so well stocked, we did not need or miss a thing when cooking meals. There are so many little touches that make such a difference: the clear instructions on how to use things, the little extras in the bathrooms. The back deck was perfect for sitting out in the morning with your coffee or evening for cocktails on the Yahara river. The location was perfect for hopping on Rt. 12/18 to get into Madison. Thank you for making our week perfect. We will definatlely stay again!

Reunion
This is a wonderful property equipped with everything you could need. My kids and I came to Madison for a reunion and stayed here with my mother, aunt and uncle who are in their 70s and 80s. During our five nights we we shared meals, played cards, and did craft projects. We were able to watch our home team Denver Nuggets on their way to a championship! We enjoyed several good restaurants within walking distance. I had to work some of the time, and the internet was great. I loved having coffee on the back porch watching all the birds and boats floating by. We rented an electric car, and we were able to charge it in the garage. Shirley is a responsive and communicative host. This was a great trip with wonderful new memories.

Ladies’ retreat.
Very clean, comfortable, good beds with massagers, plenty of paper products and a welcome to anything in the kitchen. We loved sitting on the deck watching the boats on the river behind us. As we love games in the evening, the variety available to us was tremendous. Overall, great experience.

Excellent time at the dollhouse.
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed are stay. The boat dock was great for my kids to fish off of and the near by bait shop was nice. It was a great location just 10 minutes or so from downtown Madison. Nick and Shirley were quick to get back with us to answer any questions we had. I highly suggest staying at this location. It is very peaceful place to stay.
