"We tried something new this holiday - Christmas in a cabin! Our time was just terrific. Starting with the cabin itself, it easily slept all 10 of us and still had plenty of room for activities, splitting into small huddles and just RELAXING. "Our 3 night stay included 2 nights of very bad storms and the host was very responsive to our needs. She went above and beyond, despite other cabins needing more asistance. This is a great little "cabin in the woods", so if you are looking for a 5 star hotel this isnt the place for you. We always pack "to be prepared", and this came in handy. We enjoy our "creature comforts of home" and so we brought them with us. We brought all our own food and drinks...otherwise it would have been a 30 minute...
