"The nightly activity at the bar. Bingo, Karaoke, Live music. The beach is literally 30 steps from the bar. The waves are calm and soothing. The bungalows are very comfortable, clean and cozy."

"Beautiful overall. Staff was very helpful. This resort was everything. You may need a rental car if you want to explore St.Croix like we did, but staying there without leaving is great as well. Beach and pool area very nice as well. "

"The location was great. The room was nice and clean. Our favorite part was the restaurant. We ate there every night. Food was excellent and the staff was great. One of staff members who deals with the snorkel and beach equipment was a little snooty, maybe she was having a bad day. Overall it was a great experience and a nice boutique type hotel. One of the owners was very personable. Armas at the front desk was really nice and helpful. We would definitely recommend this place. "

"We enjoyed our stay. St. Croix is a beautiful island, with lots to do. The view from our room was wonderful, and we appreciated the kitchen (and the suggestion to stop for groceries on the way there). The staff was great and very accommodating. Just a few small negatives: Would have appreciated a toaster or toaster oven and a blanket on the bed (not just a bedspread). We would stay there again if we went back to St. Croix."

"The location was perfect. Love being right at the water. Plenty of benches for people watching. Did not like the fact there are no elevators, but I managed slowly with my cane. I liked the island charm feel of the property. Everyone was friendly and very accommodating. I would stay again if the price would come down a bit."

"The property is beautiful and my view of the beach was breathtaking! The staff were very friendly however, the room was not cleaned thoroughly on arrival and I had to call the front desk several times, to take the dirty towels and replace with clean towels. Also, the front des contact information was difficult to locate."

"A bit of an older crowd than I anticipated based on the advertising. The staff was beyond amazing and friendly--they truly made our stay. The views are phenomenal. The hotel is a quick walk to the pier/restaurants/shops. A few cons--not a quiet area. Lots of barking dogs, chickens/roosters, etc. The area seems a bit sketch after dark but we were never confronted or asked for money. The hotel is adult-only, but it is open to the public so there can/will be kids, especially on cruise ship days....

"Low water pressure and i would have liked at least a thin blanket vs thin sheet only. Staying in the second building behind the gate is not as nice as the main building so not sure why i received that room vs the main building."

"As is the case with most of the Caribbean, Hotel on the Cay has been battered by hurricanes. However, if you love the beach, are not fussy and do not need ADA amenities, it is perfect. They do a great job of keeping the rooms clean and take good care of guests with charming island hospitality. "

"I liked how the property had a huge historical background. I also liked how it was a short walk to many shops and restraunts. The stairs only was a little tough, and the shower had some water pressure issues but it was expected for an old building."

"The Feather Leaf is a quiet spot on the edge of St. Croix... when there's no one else on property. There are times during the day when each of the guests are busy around the island a quiet moment can be had by the pool or on the veranda. But when the lodge is full and guests come back from the day, the quiet turns to thumps, bumps and slamming doors and the open air lodge does little to stop "all" noises from other rooms.
