"There was a mixup for my reservation for my one night stay .. it was cancelled not by me and no fault of the hotel manager or desk clerk it was due to third party resevation company ..The clerk ,manager and i got it all worked out good thing i had my email conformation and my credit card app to show when and when tranactions were done .i had made the 4 hour trip from west Tennessee to starksville Mississippi with my elder mom for family members graduation they took my information i had a was able to make sure we got a room .She was very nice about the situation told me relax we make sure you have good stay and see your family member walk that stage.upon check out the same two were on duty and asked how our room and stay was and asked about our graduate and wished her best luck for future .."

"Really good experience. Rooms are spacious and high ceilings. Staff very accommodating. We were able to leave our luggage and it was in our room when returned. The housekeeping was spotless. Nice assortment of pastries and yogurt as well as salty snacks. Decorations and furnishings were tasteful. "

"This was a very unique property being a renovated school house from the 1960s. The rooms were very unique and many small touches that showed attention to detail. I would highly recommend as an alternative to the generic chain hotels/motels in Starkville. "
