"When we arrived, the place was closed, and it seems like it hasn't been a hotel for a long time. It was late afternoon, snowing, with the temperature at -5 degrees Celsius, and we almost ran out of a place to sleep! Our luck was that one person offered us help to find another place to stay. After more than two hours of arguing on the phone, the owner of another hotel agreed to accommodate us. I don't know what they talked about, but I'm glad everything worked out. This place should not be listed...

"This is a lovely quiet and cool place to stay. The staff gave us a warm welcome and helped with our bags as well. Their breakfast was fantastic, with fresh hot and cold food in the huge dining area. Our room was a timber resort style, very clean, with modern bathroom and a small second bedroom, so plenty of space, and great views. The grounds and exterior need a little bit of TLC, probably weather dependant. The highway has moved, so you have to search for the exit onto the old road."

The rooms provided the bare necessities and bed was comfortable. The one MAJOR negative was the design of the bathroom. The shower is just a nozzle on the wall above the toilet and activated via a lever on the sink. There is no way to shower without getting the entire bathroom wet.
