"A beautiful hotel with fabulous views of the hills and the Alcazabar from the breakfast terrace. Right in the heart of the old town . There’s a beautiful square outside which is currently being renovated so best ask the hotel when works will finish if that is likely to disturb your stay "

"Lovely staff very friendly just a shame announcements were all in Spanish so we had no idea what was going on where! Very clean, very comfortable. Rooms are lovely. We faced a car park which was a shame but we did have a balcony. Not all inclusive, so choices of meals very limited. Unfortunately as we didn’t understand what was happening my daughter did not get chance to join in the kids clubs or me in the adult activities! Loved the pool, jacuzzi and fountains. Would return. "We had a lovely 1- night half board stay at the Alegria palacio Mojacar. The food exceeded expectations. Staff lovely, drinks prices reasonable. We watched some Flamenco dancing in the hotel bar with a cocktail. Spa quite unique,2 saunas, a steam room and many different jets to discover in the pool €15 each for 90 minutes slot. Only downside is that nothing much else is in walking distance apart from the beach and a small supermarket. "

"Our stay was the third this year at an Ohtels hotel , it was overall a very enjoyable stay, the room was very spacious and the view was 1st class, my only criticism being the pool area not opening until 11am, also the dining room not opening until 8pm, other than that couldn't fault it, "

"Love this hotel, have stayed there many times over the years. It's clean, comfortable and rooms are well equipped. It offers excellent value for money. Our only criticisms are the very loud dining hall. You could almost do with ear plugs when its' full with everyone shouting. And a warning to those parking their cars there - the outside parking is quite limited, with cars squeezing in where are no spaces. Unfortunately our car was damaged in the car park, however we didn't notice until we'd...

"The hotel has a very interesting architectural design which makes it bright and feel spacious. The staff were very helpful. Even though there were not many people staying at the hotel ( October) the bar stayed open until late and the barman was very friendly and helpful. The only complaint would be that the shower was not brilliant and some woodwork around the doors in the room was rotten. Breakfast was brilliant. Large buffet with lots of choice in a bright, light room overlooking the pool....
