One of the nicest house rentals available in Lyons, Colorado

This is a perfect rental right at the Gateway to the Rockies, Lyons Colorado. It is a short drive into the mecca of Boulder or head west just 30 minutes to Rocky Mountain National Park.

Hall Ranch is the best mountain biking trail in Boulder County just 3 minutes from the house or enjoy tubing on the river, amazing parks or Planet Bluegrass just a short walk down the hill.

This part of Lyons only has a couple of streetlights around anywhere and it is perfectly quiet every night. You can see wildlife like a group of deer that frequent the backyard or the neighborhood lynx making his rounds in the morning.

Guests will have an access to 2 car garage. The main space has a very large kitchen opened to a living room and there is a deck off of the kitchen. Amazing patios and yard.

The rooms are decorated with contemporary, high-end furniture and the bedding is mostly from natural hypoallergenic materials or organic materials. All of our shampoos/soaps/conditioners are organic.

Perfect Central Lyons House
We had a wonderful long weekend in Petra and Matt's beautiful home. The location was perfect for our son's wedding at Planet Bluegrass. We were able to walk to all the activities and comfortably have other family stop by to visit.

Awesome spot!
Was in for a wedding and found this house. Very nice home in a great location. Tucked into a corner lot with great views. It is on walking distance to main street or the coffee shop. Would recommend this house if your travels take you to Lyons.

Stayed before wedding- it was perfect
Used this as a gathering house before our wedding in Lyons. It was perfect. So close to everything we needed to get to, spacious, pretty, and served us perfectly. Petra allowed a late checkout which was very much appreciated.

Property was clean and well cared for… Walk for coffee and good location for wedding at the Farmette…. It became sunny out only 2 old lawn chairs outside…. Would be nice to have furniture on deck and outside… as the yard is inviting.. may just be considered early season ….

This place is very comfortable and worthy of 5 stars. I only gave it 4 because of the pebbled river rock floor in the shower off the master bedroom. While stylish, this type of floor can be the source of pain for anyone with any foot issues. In my case since my right heel was shattered in an accident, and although it has been surgically repaired, many nerves in my foot are permanently damaged and my foot is very tender. As a result I always travel with shower slippers, so I could use that shower, but it would have been nice to be forewarned in any event.

Great spot!
The property is great! It's updated, comfortable and also has great views and great light. We went for a family wedding at Planet Bluegrass and the location of this house could not be more central. Every event we attended the entire weekend was less than a five minute drive. I had a few last minute questions before check-in and Petra got back to me immediately. She was lovely and accommodating. The only advice I would have if you are coming here to stay and you're going to cook is to bring tupperware or ziplocs or some way to preserve your food. If that's the only constructive comment I can come up with, you know it's a great property! Lastly, just be aware that there is another space in the basement of the house that is locked off, they also rent out. It was not an issue in any way, but we were just not expecting to see other people in the yard. I'm sure that was written somewhere in the property description but I must have missed it. Highly highly recommend this property!

This place was perfect!! Very pleased! Very clean and most of the conveniences of home! Modern. Washer and dryer would have been wonderful, but we managed! Towels were limited and the washer and dryer would have taken care of that! More dish towels would have been helpful too! It was great though!!!

Beautiful unit!
This property is a beautifully decorated and maintained unit located about 30 minutes from Boulder, CO. Petra and Mat were very responsive and helpful. The 3 BR/2BA layout was great for our family of 5; the open floorplan was very inviting and offered lots of natural light. You are staying above the owners who live below, but we found them excellent hosts. Beds were very comfortable, everything from towels to kitchen gear was well-stocked, wifi worked seamlessly, and the master BR is very luxurious. Overall it was an inviting and relaxing place to stay for two nights. There is also an adorable local coffee shop 5 minutes walk away that we enjoyed.

Nice place but the "quiet hours" are burdensome and impractical
Very nice place in Lyons walking distance from downtown. However there is a permanent resident living in the basement of the unit, and the primary living area is a huge echoing room with wood floors directly above this resident. It is wildly impractical to not bother this poor downstairs resident, and the mandatory 9 PM "quiet hours" are frankly ridiculous for a group of folks just watching television and hanging out. If your group won't be going to bed at 8 PM so you can wake up at 5 AM to go hiking everyday, I would recommend seeking lodging at another location. Recommend to the host that they make the quiet hours very clear on the listing prior to booking.

Stayed here over the summer, recently reminiscing with friends and was urged to post review. In town for a wedding, great location. Overall nice place, just alittle grossed out when we stripped the bedding, (which was black) to find white pet hair. Enjoyed the coffee maker, nice touch. Master Bath was nice and large for all girls to get ready in. Complaints that feet and/or socks were dirty, being there were no shoes allowed in the house. The swap cooler was loud and perhaps moldy, which may have been the cause of the odor. Friends said the Guest bath "wasn't the cleanest" I don't know I didn't see it. Maybe it was a quick flip and not cleaned well from previous guests? We paid for a broken nighstand that we brought to the host's attention, again perhaps from the previous guest's stay.

Very nice house
We really loved Lyons and this house is in a lovely neighborhood. The property is very nice and nicely decorated. We had a few problems. The biggest one was being awakened at 6:30 am by the owner’s children downstairs. We understand that kids are kids but it was impossible for any of us to get back to sleep with all the noise that continued until about 8 am. Also after showering we realized that the hair dryer listed in the description was no where to be found. The owners bought one and left it for us that afternoon. Things can be overlooked but then when I went to iron my travel clothes for the next day - no iron or ironing board as listed in the description. I made do but I would have brought my own hair dryer and travel iron if they hadn’t been promised. Also the stove/oven are very difficult to figure out - directions are needed. Although the property is very nice I’m not sure we would stay here again. Being awakened at 6:30 is hard to take.

Convenient location in Lyons with a lot of specific rules.
I would not rent this property again. While the location is convenient to Lyons, which doesn't offer many accommodations, the amount of rules, labels, and restrictions both received prior and once we arrived at the property did not give anyone in the group comfort to relax. From mandatory coasters due to a high maintenance coffee table to restrictions regarding shoes due to a downstairs neighbor, we felt like we were in constant violation of some rule. We also couldn't get an extra towel though we asked - when we were only provided with 5 for a 6 person place. We also found that the property had not been properly cleaned before our arrival, including finding used, dried contacts on the bedside table plus a noticeable amount of rings/dents/scratches in the above mentioned coffee table. To ensure we were not blamed I reached out to the host and received a long list of messages about how previous guests have not been respectful (which personally, I don't care about, I just wanted to ensure my group was not blamed). Regarding the contact lenses - a simple "I will let the cleaners know" was all that was provided. I've traveled a good amount, though less since COVID, but this latest experience has reminded me why hotels are usually a better choice, even when traveling with a group. At least with a hotel, there is an effort to right any wrongs from the business vs passing the blame.

Tenants in Basement - Otherwise, Great!
Our family of three (including a 2 year old) stayed here in October for a wedding. Pros: -Very child friendly - The house comes stocked with a pack-n-play, baby blankets, toddler plates/cups/etc., indoor toys, and even a few outdoor toys that were prefect for a toddler. The indoor toys were HUGE in keeping him happy and entertained. -Garage space to park. We didn't need this as much, but would be really helpful when it snows. My husband and I used it as a place to workout. -Home kept warm surprisingly well. We never felt "chilly". -The kitchen served our needs. We didn't cook any meals, so can't speak to cookware, but the basics to eat snacks and take-out are there. -Very close to "downtown". You can easily walk. -Owners were responsive to messages before we got there and after we arrived. Suggestions for the owners: -Replace the bed frame in the Master Bedroom. It makes loud, creaking sounds. And I mean every. single. little. move. My husband and I got a horrible first night's sleep because we kept waking each other up. We finally decided to sleep in different rooms. (Thankfully we weren't using the queen in the other room.) -Be a bit more transparent there is someone living downstairs. This isn't obvious in the listing and something we didn't realize until after we booked. They made minimal noise, but you could tell they were there. It kinda weirded me out and made us weary about leaving valuables (iPad, laptops, etc.) in the house.

Wonderful location and community
We stayed here on a trip to Colorado on the days we hiked in Rocky Mountain National Park. Longmont is a short drive from the house (groceries, gym) and the town of Lyons truly has everything you need for a short stay. Host was professional and responsive. Wonderful spot for a getaway!

We stayed here for a weekend during the Rockygrass festival at Planet Bluegrass. The house was perfect for our group of friends and our 1 year old. Close walk to town and the festival. Highly recommend.

Perfect getaway location at the gateway to RMNP.
This was our second stay at this property which probably tells you everything right there. Petra has thought of most everything one could reasonably hope for when not in their own home. The home is spacious with huge windows for enjoying the view and wildlife. The location is close enough to downtown for a casual stroll to dinner, or to go get a pastry and coffee in the morning. It's also a great location for a day of outdoor adventure. Definite recommend.

Pre wedding girls night
I booked this property the night before my wedding to stay with my bridesmaids and to get ready for the wedding the next morning. Property was clean and spacious. It was perfect for getting ready with a lot of natural light. The host was easy to work with and very helpful and allowed us to check in early and check out late to allow time for us to get ready for my wedding. I definitely recommend this property.
