My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Island View. Brenda, the owner, was extremely helpful and we really appreciated the milk, tea and biscuits left for our arrival. The property was perfect for our visit with everything we needed. Secure and safe parking in the centre of Lymington meant we could leave the car behind and explore on foot, by bus (which stops right outside) and by ferry. We definitely plan to stay again in the future.

A relaxing stay in the heart of Lymington
We had a good week. A comfortable stay. All the furnishings and kitchen equipment were of a high standard.Loved the brow over the Solent and the Island. The only down side is the bedroom over the high street suffers a bit from the noise of the buses in the morning. We would come again.
We stayed in this lovely apartment for a week. Right in the middle of Lymington town with private parking and a view of the Isle of Wight. Great outdoor space where we was able to sit in the sun. Lots of places to eat within walking distance although if you prefer to eat in the kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal. Plenty to see and buses stop right outside to take you further afield if you want to leave the car behind. The apartment was spotless and equipped with everything you may need. Brenda the owner, seems to have thought of everything even a picnic rucksack.

Perfect.....Just Perfect
A lovely apartment in the heart of Lymington. Well equipped with everything you need. Easy parking, great TV and very fast internet. A bit noisy in main bedroom but we slept in the slightly smaller back bedroom and it was very quiet.
Marks and Spencer Foodhall just 5 mins walk away and loads of pubs and restaurants within 5 mins walk also.
Excellent communication and help.

Long weekend in Lymington
The flat is very comfortable with every thing provided. Very clean and dish washer and washing machine soaps provided.
Nice coffee machine with some coffee pods provided.
We loved having breakfast outside on the sun terrace.
It was great having a secure parking space and a nice touch was a parking permit which we could use in local car parks.
Tea, coffee, milk and delicious chocolate biscuits were provided which was just what we needed when we arrived.
The flat is very central and yes it could be a bit noisey if you wanted the windows open especially when the buses stop outside but all in all worth it to be able to walk everywhere.
We had a great stay at Island View. The flat was clean, comfortable, and very well appointed. The flat felt more like someone’s home rather than a generic rental. The kitchen was especially well appointed - everything you need to cook a meal plus some staples which were convenient.
The location on High Street was certainly convenient for restaurants and stores. The Tesco express is nearby and the harbor is easy walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed Lymington including the Saturday market on High Street. It was easy enough to park in the private gated parking area even on market day.
We like being on the top end of High Street, which is quieter – no restaurant noise. There was some street noise noticeable from the front bedroom but not the back double bedroom. Also, the flat was on two of the upper levels which helped. We would definitely recommend a stay at Island View.
Lovely apartment which was very comfortable and had everything you need for a great stay. It’s right in the heart of Lymington so you are near all the shops, pubs and restaurants. There’s a bus stop outside so you don’t necessarily need a car, but there is private parking.
Island View definitely one of the best places we’ve stayed.....absolutely everything needed for a comfortable holiday. We appreciated the easy secure parking and it was interesting to look out on to the High St.
Highly recommended and we’ll stay again if back in Lymington.
Beautiful Lymington, we felt at home straight away and couldn't wait to explore , so much to do.
The apartment was very clean and comfortable and just what you need after a busy day out. The smart kitchen has everything you need, perfect for making a family meal. The attractive lounge and bedrooms were comfortable, clean and spacious enough. Just right, for me, my husband and our 2 teenagers for our week's stay. Our only regret is that we didn't stay for 2 weeks, as there's so much to do in the area, we were spoilt for choice. Brenda thank you for being very responsive and helpful. The chocolate biscuits were delicious. Thank you Lisa, Paul, Eve & Will.
A home from home. Everything you need is provided including welcome milk and biscuits. Great for exploring Lymington, the coast and the New Forest. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely, central apartment in Lymington. Clean, nicely decorated and well-equipped kitchen.
We had a smashing four day stay in the apartment. Very central to leave the car and visit the shops and restaurants of Lymington. Used it as a base to explore the coast and the lovely beaches between Lymington and Christchurch. Brenda was very helpful and was happy to be contacted with any queries. Really appreciated the milk and biscuits that were there for us on arrival. Look forward to returning when we
next visit the area.

Excellent property, with private parking and very convenient for everything in Lymington
Island View is a lovely property to stay in. Very clean with everything you need for a full self catering holiday. With comfortable beds, high quality bed linen, and big fluffy towels, the main impression you have is that Brenda really cares about her guests comfort and enjoyment during their stay. The TV and WiFi are both very good too. The large sun terrace at the back ensures you have a good view towards the Isle of Wight and is the ideal place for a morning coffee or a G&T in the evening before going out. We found Brenda to be very helpful and quick to respond when booking which always bodes well in our view. We only had breakfast in and then ate out the rest of the time. But for self catering the shops and supermarkets are right on your doorstep, being only a few minutes walk. We found The Kings Head at the bottom of the High Street an excellent place to eat but very busy so would advise booking. Also the Haven Yacht Club does a very good breakfast and is open for lunch and dinner. Again it’s very busy so booking’s advised. Barton-on-Sea has a lovely restaurant called Pebble Beach which is well worth a visit for a treat, again bookings advised as it’s very busy. Overall we had a fantastic holiday and would return to Island View as well as having no hesitation to recommend it to others. Thank you Brenda for letting us stay in your beautiful property.

Lovely home in a great location
We are a family of 4 with a 15yr old & 17 yr old. Double room plus a room of 2 single beds was perfect. Beds were the most comfortable we’ve ever had in a rental property or hotel. The apartment was immaculate and the owner had thought of everything you could need. Kitchen was excellent, good quality pans, knives, appliances. The apartment/townhouse is on the main high street, above shops so very convenient for shops or walking down to the harbour. Off street parking easy. We would highly recommend this property and hope to come back another time.
We were here over xmas so most of the time the street was quiet but on the days that delivery trucks arrive early to the shops below then it’s quite noisy in the lounge and twin bedroom. There is an extensive Saturday market in the Main Street so the street becomes “one way” - to reach the apartment you need to enter the Main Street from the harbour end.

Excellent accommodation in a convenient location
We were very impressed with Island View which offers every comfort you would want in a property as well as being superbly well equipped. It is maintained to a very high standard of cleanliness as well as décor. It's location on Lymington High Street offers all the shops and restaurants close by as well as being a short walk from the picturesque cobbled streets down to the Quay. We had a lovely week exploring the beautiful New Forest and towns along the coast.

-Island View - a Gem
"Island View" really is a perfect Gem situated in the town of Lymington. It is such a big plus to be able to park the
car safely behind gates and because of the position of the apartment be able to walk to absolutely everything.
Our weather means we cannot be completely sure that the sun will always shine and in Lymington one can walk
to a variety of restaurants and wonderful shops - which we did ...............................................................................
I would have no hesitation in recommending Island View - the apartment is beautifully clean and equipped with
just about everything one could possibly need for a perfect stay.
One lovely bedroom overlooks the High Street so is perfect for people watching whilst the other offers a view
across the Solent to the Isle of Wight.
How lucky to find this property - already thinking of returning. The friend who was with me came over from
the USA and her verdict was PERFECT.
So all in all a great success from Christine in Surrey and Marie from Seattle, Washing State.

Beautiful house in the heart of Lymington
My family and I stayed at Island View for a week in August,. The house is easy to reach with it's own parking space. Fantastic view of the Solant and a great location for the Marina and High Street. The house itself was well presented and well equipped, a home from home feel in the front room too. We will be staying again!
