"We loved our stay here. This is a spacious country cottage in the Cotswolds, 10 minutes away from Tetbury, which is perfect for a big weekend away. 14 of us stayed in this beautiful property and we had a brilliant time - the layout is perfect for entertaining a large group. It’s modern, spacious and equipped with everything you need. The hot tub was the perfect finishing touch. I’d highly recommend this for a big gathering - the location is brilliant and the property is even better. "

"Owner Mike is friendly and service and his breakfast cooking was good. One thing I feel can further improve is, when we arrived at the hotel around 1700hrs it was already total darkness as we are travelling in winter Dec 2024. Mike should install a lamp by the sign board where the instructions for the guests, to guide the guests to the instruction’s board, as the winter darkness make it challenging for us. He should also change the blackboard to others board as the chalk on the blackboard...

"Lovely two nights in a beautiful barn, well appointed for 10 people. Great local pub and surroundings. However, could do with some more dusting and repairs. Must be fine with spiders. But we really enjoyed our stay."

"Beautiful kitchen with woodburner, great for when dogs got wet. Amazing lounge with panoramic views over the valley, also with woodburner. Two beautiful bedrooms with large comfy beds. The Retreat is really lovely, even better than photographs!"

"We stayed for 2 nights for a special birthday. The communications beforehand were informative and friendly. When we arrived the welcome was warm and the property was lovely. It was exactly as described as well as being clean and well equipped. The outside space was also excellent with a good sized, enclosed and safe garden. "The location of the property was perfect to visit other areas of the Cotswolds. The property was quiet and had everything you needed to make it feel like home. The beds were so comfortable and have never slept so well. It was peaceful and relaxing and was lovely to hear the church bells even through the night. The location was ideal to explore and walk around the village and countryside. Would stay here again and highly recommend."
