"Very nice compact hotel, its alongside the beach so the sea visible from most areas in the hotel and everything is closeby . The beach was amazing- it was private, with sand where kids could play. "This hotel is one of the best in Turkey, we have just spent a great week at The Residence. The hotel itself is immaculately clean inside and out. Staff are all very friendly and could not do enough for us. Food is served to you rather than buffet style and always a very good quality with a lot to choose from. Kids club and shows with fantastic entertainement including presentation is a great success with Adem (Master entertainer) and occasional other programmes (Kenian, Mongolian/Chinese) where fun and laughters are guaranteed."

"This property at best a 2 star hotel. The grounds were dirty abd the report was shoddy with ongoing construction everywhere.. The staff was extremely cold and un helpful. It’s out in the middle of nowhere but not a place where you can sink in and relax. I hardly write bad reviews, but if you are used to 5 star or luxury resorts. Be aware this is not it. The area is very run down also. The surrounding mountains are charming, the resort is not. We left 2 days early with no reimbursement."

However, if you are vegetarian/vegan like me, it will be abit of a struggle as none of the buffet food is labelled as suitable for veggie/vegans. Considering 90pc of the tourists were Russians, this might explain it. "Very nice manicured grounds. Good food. Gorgeous views. Crystal-clear waters. The only thing missing: separation on the beach into smoking and non-smoking areas. It was very unpleasant to be next to the sea and inhale 2nd hand smoke instead of wonderful sea breeze. "
