"We were quite comfortable at the The Lake Haus. It was very peaceful looking out at the bay from the firepit area and the sunsets from the dock were gorgeous. "The Idlewild cabin is a perfect and well stocked cabin for an Ice Fishing Trip to the Little Sturgeon Bay area. The game room was a nice added bonus to the weekend. The shuffle board table is in good condition. The pool table just needs a new cue ball. Otherwise the cabin was comfy and the perfect location to the area. "

"My wife and I were looking forward to this weekend getaway. A very cozy well tastefully decorated cabin. The Christmas tree was a pleasant surprise. Eack morning we had a hot breakfast delivered and a couple of tastefull chocolate chip cookies were on a plate for us when we came back from our daily activities. "We were completely disappointed that there were no dishes, glassware, silverware or cookware provided, after being told it was FULLY equipped. In addition there was NO place to sit and eat; no table & no chairs. The bathroom was dirty around the shower AND the hot water stunk so bad we couldn't use it. smelled like sewer water! "

"I took my wife and in-laws here for the holiday weekend and out stay was amazing (with the dog as well). Our host and his partner were nothing short of helpful and accommodating. The place has a beautiful sandy beach for all of us to enjoy and offered us peace and quiet away from the busier towns in Door County. The house is dated but the pictures and listing are 100% accurate. We weren’t there for the home but the ambiance and location, which were amazing. Would definitely stay here again next...
