What you do get is an old world building with warts and all, fabulous character brilliant welcome and a refreshing can do attitude from all of the staff. We were attending a wedding innthe village and had a really great stay here. Highly recommend for comfort, charm,and welcoming staff. Brilliant."

"From the moment we arrived, to the moment we left, we had nothing but friendly attentive service from the staff at the pub. We were fortunate to be upgraded from a room in the pub to one of the relatively new lodges. The lodge was immaculate on arrival and very comfortable and well equipped. We had breakfast included and this was first class with locally sourced food included. We had two evening dinners at the pub and both were excellent from the very varied menu on offer. "

"Just returned home from a lovely stay at The Sandrock in Lynton. The Sandrock is a little out of the way of the main high street but still only a 5 minute walk to the shops etc. We stayed in room 4 which was clean and well appointed, the en suite was spacious (huge infact!)and the towels really fluffy, it was also super clean and tidy. The room had lots of little extras to make it cosy and homely. The bed was really, REALLY comfy, so much so that even my partner who usually struggles when we are...
