This is an ex-Council property in the middle of a large estate. It was clearly modernised a little while ago with extensions. Upstairs is mostly as built. Marble tiled floors downstairs give an impression of space and there are four good sized bedrooms including the ground floor ex-lounge which has a glass door for some reason.
It had been well cleaned and one towel per bed supplied, together with a stained tea towel. It smelt badly of smoke.
The kitchen breakfast area was vast with a large island, table and (saggy) chairs and fitted cupboards which were mostly empty. There was no welcome pack but there was soap at every sink but two out of three plugs were missing and there was no washing up bowl. This made washing up difficult as there were no dishwasher tablets either. Fairy liquid was provided and some tea bags of dubious age. Tumblers were available and one wine glass!
Maintenance of the property was clearly ongoing to a pretty poor standard.
The landlord failed to provide us with entry details and I had to email twice less than a week away to no avail and then phone him to get the info.
Overall, the property was just about acceptable.
