"Really great spa and pool, room, and food. Some important details: no spa admission after 8 pm, it reopens at 10 in the morning. Restaurant kitchen closes after 8 pm too, but they still serve drinks and charcuterie. Some staff spoke English and it was helpful because the receptionist did not. Also the credit card machine at the reception wouldn't process Hotels.com charges in dollars (but the restaurant's card reader can do it)"

The staff were quite nice and accommodating (not everyone spoke English but this was not a problem). A delicious breakfast was provided and there is offsite parking available. "Good hotel with amazingly clean rooms. Room was big and recently renovated, lots of space and nice touches like tea and coffee in the room. Big windows let in loads of natural light, and opening windows allowed fresh air which was nice. The location allows for easy access and parking, and then it's a very short walk to the centre of the historic town. Friendly team and good breakfast. As some other people commented, no, they don't speak English - but it turns out the hotel is in Germany, so...

"Arrived at 10.30pm after a day of visiting clients and a long drive from Dusseldorf where we got held up in a lot of traffic to find out the hotel was closed no one was there and now stuck with nowhere to go. I hadnt noticed that in the small print it states check in closes at 10pm a detail I think should be highlighted not hidden in small details. Extremely disappointed no one tried to ring or message from the hotel to see if we were arriving. I accept we were late but would have been better...
