"This is a hostel and not a hotel. It is only ideal for one night. They do not clean the room nor give you fresh sheets or towels during a longer stay. We stayed 6 nights and it's too long. If you want these services you have to pay for them. I understand not cleaning but you need towels during a long stay. Any room that faces the square will face 24 hour noise from Street cleaning at 6am, the setting up of market stalls at 6am three times a week, church bells all night and shouting and screaming...

"My bus was late from poland. I sent the inn a message requesting late check in. They were so kind to meet me after hours and get me checked in. Location is excellent for access to the port or the city. The train is feet from your front door. Clean showers kitchen and rooms. A welcome snack on your pillow."

"Die Möbel im Haus sind in die Jahre gekommen. Die Matratzen sind durchgelegen und fleckig. Die Küche ist schlecht ausgestattet, kein Backofen, keine Geschirrspülmaschine, nur drei Stühle obwohl für 4 Personen. Im ganzen Haus gibt es keine Möglichkeiten seine Kleidung in Schränken unter zu bringen. Preisleistungsverhältnis passt nicht."

"Geheimtipps verrät man nicht 😉 Aber nach unserem zweiten Aufenthalt im Ferienbungalow Wiesenblick müssen wir nun doch mal eine Bewertung schreiben. Kommunikation schon vor dem einchecken mit Frau Gubanow perfekt. Das wir in eine liebevolle eingerichtete und sehr saubere Ferienwohnung kommen wussten wir schon vorher. Von der Familie Gubanow wird alles getan um den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Es war wirklich wieder alles perfekt. Sehr zu empfehlen 12 von 10 Punkten 😉👍"

"The “hotel” is attached to a training centre, so was difficulty to find as could not see signs for Am Kai Hotel. I finally found the entrance and was given my keys to the room. The rooms are amazing, lovely size, very clean and the best shower I’ve ever had, breakfast the following morning as varied from normal European breakfast but also a full English fried breakfast, which was constantly refilled. Plenty of juices and coffee to drink. There are not places nearby for food/drinks nearby, but I bought items from the train station to eat so no problem for me. I will definitely use the hotel again as it was within walking distance for the local train station (Rostock Marienehe) and the place I was visiting. "
