My kids enjoyed the alpacas and donkeys which were on their farm in back of our apartment and the playground. We also used the laundry machine and Lena, the host, helped us with the drying of our clothes. She also provided us with some homemade butter and cheese which was delicious. "

"What a gem. A little country estate just a 10 minute walk from du Clos Luce and 20 min walk to Chateau Royal. The owners Rob and Aude were wonderful. We walked into town each evening after visiting Chateaus in the surounding area and stolled home at dusk. We awoke each morning to the sound of cuckoo birds and a nice breakfast by the fire in the fireplace. Just delightful."

Close to the local city of Amboise (5-6 min drive) with its castle and some great restaurant options and only 30ish minutes from Tours. Would definitely stay here again. Oh and the shower pressure was GREAT! "

"Quick one night stop over on route from UK via Cherbourg to Dordogne. 2 adults 3 young kids. We booked the wooden Summerhouse/Chalet because it was more fun for the kids. We got exactly what we booked, perfect. Our host was very friendly and helpful given our poor spoken French. Woke up with the song from the birds in the woods. Breakfast was perfect, great coffee, freshly baked bread, home made jams, apricots, yoghurts and pain au chocolat."
