The surrounding area offers remarkable sights such as the St Marcel d'Ardèche caves, unique in Europe, or the Chauvet cave above Vallon Pont d'Arc, famous for its majestic mineral arch. It is the gateway to the beautiful Ardèche Gorge, which is ideal for hiking, canoeing or taking a break on the sandbanks for a refreshing dip. Also visit Alba la Romaine, a listed village with character, dominated by its imposing castle built of volcanic rock in the middle of vineyards and known for its archaeological site and MUSEAL.
