"Bayshore Hotel in Dalian was nice and comfortable. However, the strange circular shower in the middle of the room had a leak that left the bathroom floor soaking wet. I requested some additional towels to our room since we used ours to put on the floor to mop up the volume of water that leaked but the staff just gave use 4 hand towels. That was disappointing. Nice location and close to Xinghai square, which is a great park on the waterfront."

"It’s a relatively new hotel. The rooms are quite modern. However the air conditioning is controlled centrally. This was annoying as the AC was stuck at 26 degrees for the whole floor. It was like being inside a moggy lizard tank. Also the hotel is across the street from a giant power plant with two huge smoke stacks. It’s quite an ugly sight and not got for the lungs I am sure.
