"Great views, cool crisp air, good food and service, nice trails nearby...just refreshing. We really enjoyed the overall great hospitality. Highlights: the shower is amazing, the bathroom looks newly renovated and they had an elevator. No real downside other than I thought the bed was too firm but that's personal preference."

"Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Herbstaufenthalt im denkmalgeschützten Martlhaus. Die Kombination aus historischem und modernem in dem Haus ist großartig gelungen, lässt nichts vermissen und ist urgemütlich und mit Herz eingerichtet. In Küche und Bad ist alles vorhanden, das Haus ist sehr sauber und liebevoll für Gäste vorbereitet. Wir empfehlen wegen des Steinbodens in Küche und Flur Hausschuhe oder warme Socken dabei zu haben. Vermieter und Verwalterin kümmern sich sehr gut um die Gäste. "

Die Unterkunft ist zweckmässig ausgestattet und die kleine Küche würde sogar Selbstverpflegung ermöglichen. Das Bad ist modern. Bei schönem Wetter bietet das große Grundstück viele Möglichkeiten zum draussen Frühstücken, sonnen, grillen, Volleyball spielen, etc. Das angebotene Frühstück ist abwechslungsreich, empfehlenswert und wird aufs Zimmer gebracht. "We bought the location. But of course hoped for a nice hotel too. The pictures weren’t bad. In reality it’s dull, tight, incommodious, and we had a broken piece of furniture. Very clean though, with a nice coffee smell (but no way to have a coffee unless you go out or did not forget to fill in and submit a breakfast form last night, given that the nearest cafes are closed till noon). Next time in Oybin, we will choose a different place, sorry"

"Location Location Location! Crowning a mountain in stunning wilderness, surrounded by walking paths, quaint villages and ancient castles and churches, it's a beautiful place. Welcomed by the owner, Torsten, who grew up here and whose family ran it before him. As a solo traveller, he went out of his way to make me welcome, even walking down into a local village with me for dinner one night. If you want German culture, landscape, food and hospitality, stay here."

This hotel gets 9/10 because of only a couple of small minor inconveniences; firstly no TV remote in room (but I didn't need the TV so no issue), secondly the shower head was little loose meaning it was hard to get under the water. "Je to pěkný hotel, čistota celého hotelu a pokoje, koupelny byla na vysoké úrovni, dostali jsme o něco lepší pokoj, fotografie na webu jsou reálné a plně odpovídají skutečnosti. Polopenze byla moc dobrá a pití, když sedíte u baru rozváží vláček, opravdu moc pěkné. Stránky uvádějí, že je wifi-internet jen ve vstupní hale, ale mile mě překvapilo, že není žádný problém se k internetu připojit i na pokoji."

"The entire experience was fantastic and We highly recommend this hotel. The owner was very friendly and helpful, she even gave us an emergency number to reach her if we needed it. The dinner was one of the most delicious we have eaten in a hotel. In addition, there are numerous hiking paths leading from the hotel as well as different options, bus, train, or hiking, for traveling to nearby Oybin. "
