The Blue Heron cabin on the River
Quiet, away from the noise of the city--just hear the birds and the sounds of the River. Soak in the hot tub on the deck as you relish no Wifi, little cell service (but we do offer Dish TV.) A cozy, small cabin perfect for two or a small family--just 2 rooms with a double bed/bunkbed combo in the back room and the shower stall bathroom. We provide pillows and bedspreads but you need to bring your linens and towels. The front room has a double bed futon, the Dish TV and the mini-kitchen. The mini-kitchen has 2 stove top burners but no oven, a microwave, a toaster and a regular coffee maker along with a refrigerator. Plan to cook out on the charcoal grill or just to sit by a fire in the firepit.

This property was just what we needed. A nice cabin with great amenities. The hot tub was just what we needed after visiting the surrounding hiking trails and waterfalls. The view of the river was wonderful and watching the sun rise over the mountain and deer traveling through the property was the peace we were looking for. Would recommend and already speaking of visiting again soon to enjoy the river when it gets warmer.
Overall we enjoyed our stay, but they apparently have a hornet problem around the cabin. I got stung and had them chase me. The guys staying in the cabin next to us said they had some fly into the fire they had going at night. I had to kill 2 inside the cabin too. Also from the pictures it looks like the river is a lot closer than it actually is. They also expect you to drive your garbage 10 minutes down the road to put it in dumpsters. We only had our car and it was packed plus I’m not putting garbage in my car. It’s unreasonable especially with the hornets and already being stung, I wasn’t messing with the garbage. The cabin was clean and everything else was fine.
