Fantastic house on an even more fantastic property. This was the perfect gateway for my friends and I who were looking to spend a few nights out of the city. Very close to some amazing hiking and the beautiful tone of Luray. Sitting in the hot tub and looking up at the stars was a can’t miss activity. Would absolutely stay here again!
We had a great time at the Luray Mountain Home. Beautiful views, hot tub, proximity to the river and parks, good bbq, the caverns. We would all visit again.
This oasis in the mountains met all of our expectations. Great views, comfortable rooms and furnishings, and top notch amenities. I completely recommend this for a wonderful mountain vacation.
Perfect place for us near the Park/Luray. It was cozy, gorgeous, and we had a great time.

Lovely home and perfect for our family. Great communication with the owner. Our only disappointment was the fireplace was not working and David tried to get someone out to fix it but it was a Saturday and no one was available. We appreciated that he tried! Loved that it was dog friendly!!
Everything was perfect for our stay. The house has everything you need. They even had a high chair and crib. The views are so beautiful and it’s such a relaxing place to stay. Thank you for making our spring break perfect!
Such a beautiful place! Loved the hot tub, game room and master bed and bath and of course the killer views!
David was easy to communicate with and very responsive throughout our stay!
We enjoyed our stay. The house is great and we enjoyed the rec room and hot tub. The location was great to visit the Luray cavern (a highlight) and local hiking trails in the area, including the dark holllow trail and waterfall. We had a great meal at the Bistro in Luray and a fantastic low key pizza meal at Ciro in Stanley. The house has a lot of space and we organized our own air hockey tournament for the family with bragging rights. We would stay here again if in the area!
House was exactly as described, and honestly exceeded our expectations. It's a beautiful, well appointed home with incredible views. Perfect location in an idyllic country setting, but still a short ride to Luray and Shenandoah.
Very nice property in a great location. The house is well equipped with everything you need for a short stay. The view from the house is also very impressive. Overall it was as good if not better than described!
This was the perfect place for family to meet to celebrate a milestone birthday. The views are simply beautiful and can be enjoyed from any room in the house. The firepit was the perfect addition to enjoy quality family time outside. The house is lovely and had plenty of space for us to reconnect as well - specifically, the kitchen is set up well for food preparation and the dining area is comfortable and spacious. We really enjoyed our visit.
The house was beautiful and very clean! Our group of 6 loved staying here for an extended weekend. We saw deer in the yard and enjoyed the hot tub and town thoroughly. We even got some trout fishing in in Luray!
Very clean, location is beautiful. Can’t beat the views and the relaxing living room with fireplace. Hot tub was really nice, rain kept us from the fire pit but it was perfectly located and look forward to using when we come back one day. We took a day trip to Luray Caverns, super close and highly recommend. Thanks for sharing your home!
We really enjoyed our stay while exploring Shenandoah National Park. Everything was as advertised in the listing. The owners even went above and beyond with little things like a Keurig Coffee Bar and free firewood (many other listings in the area charge). We appreciated their generosity.
This was a wonderful vacation rental. The house was beautiful and clean, it had everything we needed. We spent time in the hot tub and around the fire pit. The game room was a great addition. The house was a close drive to town for shopping and eating and there were wineries nearby to visit as well. The hosts were attentive to every detail. A wonderful time was had by all.
Beautiful home, perfect for a group weekend getaway
David was super fast on all communications and the listing was exactly what was posted. The amenities were all working properly. We really enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub, and everything in the gaming room. There were lots of board games and card games provided (i.e. Cards against humanity). It is a perfect place for a group getaway. It is also very close to the Luray caverns. We definitely recommend this place!
We stayed here with our family and my SIL's family, a total of 4 adults and 4 kids. There was plenty of space for everyone, and the kids loved running around the property, playing games in the game room, cooking s'mores over the fire pit, and soaking in the hot tub. The view of Shenandoah NP is spectacular, and the location is both quiet and conveniently close to Luray and the national park. The house is well appointed and comfortable, the picture windows really are as beautiful as the photos suggest, and the owners are very kind and responsive. We were even able to plug our EV into a conveniently located outdoor outlet, so we felt good about the environmental impact of our stay!
The house is simply delightful on so many levels, from a well appointed kitchen To a nice dining space to a fabulous great room and bonus room with views to blow your mind. Windows everywhere on enough acreage you have total privacy! Spacious bedrooms. Incredible master!! Second en-suite. Fabulous game room Only 22 minutes to inside the park!! Lots to explore. Unbelievable trails
So much more-hot tub, fire pit, outdoor space.
Great, easy communication with host
We stayed at David’s home for a couple days and had an amazing time! The house is immaculate with every detailed considered. There’s stunning views of the landscape from all rooms. We were celebrating our anniversary and my husband’s birthday, and were surprised to find a generous bottle of champagne in the fridge! We loved the game room and spent a lot of time outside just enjoying the expansive property. The sunsets and sunrises were incredible! Our one year old slept comfortably in the portable crib supplied. We really appreciated how impeccable the house is in every way. It felt like home and we look forward to booking again the next time we’re in the area!
With my brother in DC and the rest of us in Texas, we decided to explore somewhere new around his neck of the woods. Having never been around Virginia I didn’t know what to expect, but was blown away by not only the beauty of the neighborhood but the views and comfort of the home. It was spacious, with all rooms being open and all rooms had amazing views of the mountains. The yard was big and functional, it was great for my 2 year old to run around without us having to worry about anything. The grill was really nice and the hot tub was a great Anne it’s as well, again especially with the views. We loved our stay at this home so much we have talked about doing it annually. Thank for sharing your beautiful home with us, it was a memory we will never forget.
Beautiful views, immaculate house, quick and friendly communication with host, and an amazing yard, with plenty of room for outdoor games. Every aspect of this house was a cut above any other I've ever stayed in. Game room games (ping pong, air hockey and foosball), firepit, Weber grill, and hottub were all top of the line. Provided for us were plenty of good quality linens, comfy beds, well appointed kitchen, second floor laundry room, even a second fridge and tv in the game room. Wi-fi worked seamlessly. Our hosts emailed and left a list of local hikes, restaurants, brewery, and shops, and their recommendations were spot-on. We took advantage of local markets for farm fresh dairy. Moo! (you can see and hear dairy cows from the house) Another guest review mentioned everything was even better than described, and I agree, especially the breathtaking view from the living room. A wonderful 5-star stay. Thank you!
This home and property is one of the very best vacation rentals we’ve ever experienced for many many reasons!!
1) The amazing views of the mountains, visible throughout the house with large picture windows. Sunrise and sunset were magical.
2) the house is modern, updated, incredibly clean and organized. Extra touch was that every light switch and kitchen cupboard and other important amenities were labeled and clear instructions and house tips were provided in a nice booklet
3) family really enjoyed the well-equipped game room. Ping pong, air hockey, foosball tables and lots of board and card games. With hot tub outside and games inside, it was easy to be entertained on the property. Large acreage for a pet to run around.
4) Beautiful living room space with gas fireplace, very airy and lots of inviting corners and places to sit.
5) screened in porch just outside kitchen and fire pit outside
6) Town of Luray is close by, neat walking/biking trail through the town along the river and lots of restaurants to choose from, as well as Caverns and hiking in the Shenandoah close by.
We are definitely planning on coming back for another getaway.
