"This was an amazing stay. Quiet and peaceful. View was somewhat obscured by the fog during the winter but you can still see the valley below and rice terraces when the fog lifts a little. Water pressure is good in the bathroom and there is hot water. To keep warm in the room, there is a small portable heater (a bit noisy so didn’t use it when sleeping) and when sleeping, just the electric blanket is enough to keep warm and have a comfortable night’s sleep. Food wise, the in-house restaurant at the main building is good. There’s also happy hour drinks which you can have by the cosy fireplace. Overall was a good stay and the staff go above and beyond to help/accomodate guests."

"The owners could not have been more responsive to every need. If you visit Sa Pa / Fansi Pan, you must stay at the Clay House. I have rarely relaxed to this extent, and the food / drinks were outstanding. The only negative comment about the Clay House, is that we had to leave."

"We had an excellent time with Lang and family- thank you for the warm hospitality. The lodging is situated on a hill and provides a vantage view of the valley. We have many things to be thankful for- going on a 6h trek, swimming at the infinity pool, having dinner with the host family, watching the sunset from our balcony, riding around the village and learning more about the Hmong community. It was an unforgettable visit. Transport to and fro the farmstay can be made upon request for a small fee. Be sure to check it out!"

"We loved out stay at this hotel! Amazing view from the room on the rice fields terraces and the mountains. Very clean and beautiful facilities. We initially didn’t get the room we booked but after telling the staff they moved us the next day (we arrived in middle of the night) and offered a voucher for the restaurant. The delicious breakfast is offering a nice panel of vietnamese food, that’s what we wanted and loved it! It’s a 5 min drive to the city I highly suggest renting a motorbike as it will save you from expensive taxi rides :)"

There were a few bugs in the room that the kids didn’t like, but that was likely our fault having a little bit of snacks in the room. "
