"Property is located next to hart land Quay beach, which is special rock formations. Property is old and simple, but great location, museum with alot of history on property. Recommend this property due to its special location. Restaurant was good home style food and nice attentive staff. "

"My wife & I have just returned home having spent 3 nights at the Corn Store conversion in Woolley nr Bude. A warm & friendly welcome on arrival from Martin. He was really helpful in giving us an introduction to the accommodation. The accommodation itself is in pristine condition. We both said on the way home that it is the cleanest place we have stayed in and it is testament to the hard work that both Riki & Martin put in to keep it in such high standards. There is everything you need to have a peaceful and relaxing stay. The kitchen is well equipped with pots and pans and utensils. There was enough wood for us to use the wood burner over the 3 nights of our stay. The highlight of the place was the shower. It is superb. A choice of two different shower heads with a huge cubicle to wash in. It was so nice! The mezzanine floor of the place was really lovely too with seating to take in the views of the Cornish countryside. The whole atmosphere of the accommodation was warm, cosey and a place we both wanted to spend time in. It's location is brilliant too. Only a 4-5 minute drive to the village of Kilkhampton and about 12 - 15 minutes drive to the town and beach of Bude. We cannot recommend the Corn Store enough. It is a place that my wife & I wanted to spend time in and one we could relax in. The 10 out 0f 10 clean sweep of reviews on here says it all. It was the reviews that sold it to us both to book our three nights away there. We will be returning for sure. "

"There is a reason why I keep coming back to Cosy barn I simply love everything about it. I honestly can’t fault it . Location is perfect the barn itself is spotlessly clean , comfortable and as the title says cosy. Riki and her husband are great hosts . Look forward to returning here next year . "

"We really loved the garden and the birds including a magnificent nuthatch, which visited regularly. It was wonderful to be in nature, we enjoyed the walks, the nature reserve and wild swimming. While the kitchen and living room were great, we do have some feedback on the state of the bedding, bathrooms and downstairs bedrooms. The pillows and duvets were smelly and stained. We were dismayed that the owners had not checked the current state of the downstairs bedrooms, as we had specifically asked about the damp problems in early August, weeks before our visit. We found mould on lamp shades, blind and curtain linings and the rooms smelt damp and unhealthy. We were able to ventilate and reduce this to some extent before my elderly mother-in-law in her nineties with breathing difficulties, came to stay. The downstairs carpets are also infested with clothes moths – most noticeable at the bottom of the stairs. We were sad about this as the house is so special nestled in the wood, in a beautiful and extraordinary place. We do feel the owners could easily have done more to ensure decent accommodation. "
