"Beautiful, old hotel/lodge with character. All was clean, warm and cozy. Staff were friendly and helpful. And...great location/views of the Lukla Airstrip i.e. just above it."

"Honestly the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. No heating (-5C and you could see your breath in room). No hot water. Food choice dire (pizza or spring rolls). Owner very rude. Checked out early. To top it off owner chased me across the apron as I was boarding my flight to accuse me of leaving without paying! (I’d paid in full on booking through here). Avoid!"

"Stand out accommodation in Gokyo. The bright cheery entryway and dining room were a real treat after a long day of trekking. We got an attached bathroom and the room was spacious, tidy, and comfy/cozy. Food options plentiful and diverse and an espresso machine was a surprise bonus! The owner operator was friendly and kind. Loved our entire stay!"

"I stayed here for 4 weeks between 2 trips to Everest Base Camp. It was a perfect base for exploring the surrounding Khumbu region and Namche village. My hosts were friendly and went out of their way to make sure I was well fed, cared for and recovering from my adventures. The rooms were clean, the food great and atmosphere welcoming. I hope to return one day and stay there again."
