"Lesley's attention to detail is everywhere. In the comfort bedding, the soft fabrics, the beautiful tile and clever workmanship in the room, the soft scent of clean in there. The gardens and blooms are well tended also in this wonderful location. The fresh farm house breakfast overlooking the pool & mountains was joyful. "This is a beautiful old property, full of lovely artwork and charm, a real home. There is a lot of wildlife to enjoy. We had a lovely time staying here. It is well equipped Loads of books and dvds if staying in. We had a fair amount of wet weather unfortunately but was ok. "The house is an absolutely stunning location. Breath taking views every morning, even if the weather did always play ball. There are some lovely areas to walk in and explore nearby and a few very nice local restaurants but these can get booked up very quickly. Even when it was raining we enjoyed our stay as the dense forests provided plenty of cover and there are excellent trips to caves and nearby cities such as Lucca and Barga that are easy drives. "This is the most amazing experience. We spent 5 days here. It is a little family run Agriturismo that is exactly what it states. No frills, but living as an Italian farming family would.
