Huge Disappointment
Based on my experience I would not recommend Mitten Flats. I was over charged by Mitten Flats and it took two and a half weeks to get them to credit my account back. Upon arrival our flat was freezing cold, we called Michael immediately to let him know we didn’t have heat. Michael was unable to reach the owner on the issue and told us we could purchase heaters and they would reimburse us (which they did). The following day they had the cleaners come to check the heat issue and it was determined that there was a boiler issue and no one can fix it for two more days. Due to the inconvenience of no heat they offered us a late checkout. I definitely think a late checkout wasn’t enough for going three days with no heat. The floors were sandy and looked like they haven’t been mopped recently based on turning our socks black. The pillows were so hard we were better off not using one. The bed frames had no support and one of the beds had zip ties holding it together. The flat had a musty smell that they tried to coverup with odor absorbers and air fresheners. I would not stay here again.
