"Good hotel, convenient; very kind friendly staff. It is dated so we did not have hot water first night. The rooms decor is old but okay. Spacious enough. The AC does not turn on because it is cooler times, no choice but need to open the semi balcony door for cool air / circulation however bugs will come in. "Excellent old Andermatt property with a storied past. The team works hard to make your stay enjoyable. Breakfast is not substantial, but an excellent way to start. Lunch and dinner options are excellent on site as are their local recommendations, all walking distance. Ski lift a 4-5 minute walk. Rooms are small and this is a village Inn so temper your expectations and you will have an amazing time! When we come back to Andermatt, we we stay here for sure! "

"This was the best customer service I've ever had at a hotel; the female night manager helped arrange our parking, carried most of our suitcases, and even helped us buy bus tickets - at the bus stop! While there were a few details, like too much road noise and the tv not working (could care less), the staff's friendliness and helpfulness made it a very enjoyable stay. "Great place to stay. It was clean and all that was promised in the listing. The location was amazing as it is basically on the side of the mountain it this cute village area. Be sure to make certain the road access from Airlo is open! Google maps will take you up to a snow closed road in the winter. Turning around on this narrow road at night is sketchy.
